That picture looks like "Stoned and Starving" perfectly encapsulated.

Giamatti wins because of the CBB episode where he gets sucked into a vortex after trying to loop himself on Reggie's looping machine.
"Marc, ambition makes you look pretty ugly."
I love the Hot Dog character; just such a strange concept for a guy, but he is so easy to picture.
I think a big reason why we hate on guys like Jesse Thorn and Matt Mira is the fact that they are inexplicably embraced by a community we all follow and respect…and that they are likely the closest representation of how an A.V. Club commenter would come across were we given the chance to rub elbows with comedy greats…
I'm curious to hear your reasons for hating "The Underdog".
Not saying I'm right, but I've got a feeling…
I'm not sure, but I think that song is actually "Pump It", and not "Let's Get It Started".

"You know that it came down to you and me on e-Trade, right?"
So this character is basically Carl from "Aqua Teen"?

Looks like Yorke's got his knives out on this one.
Well made movie with some great performances by the two boys, but I felt that the story could have benefited from Mud's background being a little more fleshed out. It also had a bit of a "History of Violence" feel with the gangsters coming after Mud.
Is that that doc about gonorrhea?
I couldn't get into Stoker; although I really wanted to like it. It just ended up being too much of a fairly straight-forward and pedestrian psychopath movie that was hinted at something deeper. Great acting by all the principals, however.
