I never had the chance to do much side-by-side comparison of Genesis games versus their SNES counterparts, so I just assume the Genesis ones were better because that's what I owned. On that note, Hyperstone Heist was way better than Turtles in Time.

Another possibility for this list: Kele Okereke's "The Boxer", although he apparently also released an EP the next year before getting back together with Bloc Party. It's too bad their releases post-A Weekend in the City have been largely disposable.
