My point exactly. There are no post-Gabriel Genesis albums.

I thought it was "The Man Who…Drove His Truck Into a Ditch and Then Got Into a Fight In Front of a Church."

Where's "Paper Plate" and "No Replay at All?"

Because Prince didn't need his mom to tell him not to hurry his love.

TIMMAH!

My favorite post-gabriel Genesis album: The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway.

You know, it really comes as no surprise to find that you'd planned it all along @avclub-3ef00cbe8a65af09beddab1c55e103fd:disqus …

I hate calling Dream Theater metal. It's the band of one of the true guitar virtuosi alive today and John Petrucci is way too adventurous to be confined to one genre. True, it's almost always heavy, but much pore in a proggy way than numbskull bashing out lame power chords and hackneyed sweep picking arpeggios.

Yeah, I got this album the week it came out and have hated it ever since. The ridiculously dry and compressed recording and Collins efforts to be obtuse just grate on me. I mean the lyrics to "Man on the Corner" are just fucking vapid.

@avclub-09a0aabb73e345f3b2ad865bc4fc1b28:disqus on Chvrches first full-length: "[S]hit…album."

Kyle's just saying J-school grads rule.

It did not escape my notice that Chvrches and Dawes are spelled nearly identically.

You lost me when you implied that getting an energetic handjob from Bob Seger would be enjoyable.

That's pretty much spot on @avclub-5a23ed9882ba5a661cedd76afc3415a4:disqus .

I loved when Jim James said that singing about someone's private parts being on fire made him uncomfortable.

Totally agree Doc. That first album was fun and Caleb sounded like the next great rock and roll wildman. Now they sound like they're trying to be America's U2.

"Comeback Story" is a great song. The only problem is it's a great My Morning Jacket Song. Too bad the ragged, exciting Allman Brothers meets the Stooges band that recorded "Red Morning Light" is apparently gone forever.

Well there was no escapism in the book. God what a bleak fucking book. Brilliant. But bleak. And if you're a parent, add gut wrenching.

The Day After since it was something you were sure was gonna happen to you to at some point.

What about his brother Brass?
