The problem with the relationships on 90210 is that everybody was in love with everybody at one point or another. You had Annie/Liam, Annie/Preacher Guy, Annie/Jasper, Annie/Ethan, Ethan/Silver, Silver/Liam, Silver/Navid, Silver/Dixon, Silver/Teddy (seriously, is there anyone Silver DIDN'T hook up with?) Dixon/Sasha,

The only time 90210 was ever truly good was when Rebecca Rand Kirshner served as showrunner. The moment she took over towards the end of season one, you could feel the show start to course-correct itself. Season 2 and 3 were genuinely good  - with Annie's hit-and-run, the Jasper madness, Naomi vs her bitch sister,

My favourite scene was when Jess disobeyed her ex-boyfriend Raylan's orders to leave town within 24 hours. (He found out that she was using school children to sell meth to homeless people, if I remember correctly). And then Raylan tracked her down to her apartment and told her that she had 60 seconds to leave and

Tbh, all three of the "major problems" aren't problems at all. Charlotte told Declan that she was with Daniel. It stands to reason that the first place he would look is at Daniel's office.

No need to be mean. Carrie is usually spot on with grading. But I agree that C- is a VERY harsh grade. That's the lowest grade for any episode this season. (And there were obviously several other episodes this season that were nowhere near as good as this finale.) I personally thought it was at least a B. Definitely

Why did they cause the blackout? What did they accomplish from any of this?

Stop trying to understand the logic of The CW. This is a network that greenlit a game show based on musical chairs.

I stopped watching The Following during the pilot episode but I came here just to give this episode an F. You've all had a rough couple of months and it's the least I could do.

You're totally right about The Originals not working because it lacks a relatable lead. That's basically what I said here.

@avclub-ea93d61158b479315c8e0d4cd003ec35:disqus You're right. Matt and Caroline are clearly PURE EVIL and those are excellent, irrefutable examples of their evilness.

I may need some of you to provide an alibi for me if Nikita gets cancelled, because I will definitely go on a killing spree.

The scar. THE SCAR!!!

"There really are no good guys on The Vampire Diaries anyway"

Plus, Walter White started off doing bad things for good reasons. That's why watching his descent into villainous territory is so compelling. The same can't be said for Klaus. He's just a bad guy doing bad things for bad reasons, which is why I think The Originals is going to be… bad.

"…and now there's somebody out there that's replacing him as the villain"

My problem with the entire concept of The Originals is that there isn't a single character that I'm rooting for or that I care about (apart from Elijah, but the show isn't really about him). Honestly, Klaus should have died in season 3 and he's been sucking the life out of TVD ever since. I guess I should be glad that

Can't believe I'm about to say this but, apart from the "Supernatural has always been an uneven show" comment, I pretty much agree with everything Phil had to say. B- seems fair and maybe even a little generous. The Charlie storyline/addition wasn't terrible but it's a symptom of the greater problem with Supernatural.

I'm on episode 7. I knew it was terrible from episode 1. I saw both Zack and Carrie's tweets confirming it was terrible. I see the F Grade now. WHY CAN'T I STOP???  http://media.tumblr.com/tum…
