At that age I was certain it had to mean something— the idea that the bizarreness of it would be the joke in itself was a little beyond me at that stage.  So my brain concocted some sort of cartoonish anatomical visual that frankly (and fittingly) I would now be embarrassed to relate.

Even words like "tits", "winkle" and "vibraphone" cannot rival the embarrassment potential of sounds!

Damn— the Internet supports your assertion, and yet I'm positive our family owned the Matching Tie album and did not own the Previous Record.  And I know I heard it before The Final Ripoff.  Something's amiss here…

Does anyone here remember Monty Python's Matching Tie and Handkerchief Album?  Okay then, question: on the "Embarrassment Clinic" track, there's a bit where we hear Carol Cleveland (I assume) saying something to the effect of "Charles?  I've got something to show you."  Then the sound of a zipper, possibly, and then

True; for all the jokes made about Dan Quayle, he didn't seem to affect the elder Bush's campaign at all. And for all the talk about how Romney's selection of Ryan was supposed to energize conservatives and scare liberals, I pretty much forgot the guy existed after a couple of weeks.  In 2000, the presence of Dick

On NPR a few weeks back they interviewed an independent voter who said he'd voted for Obama in 2008 but would vote for Romney this time.  When he asked his reasons, he said that he'd opened a business in the past four years, "but it hasn't grown at all."

I never really saw Biden as a liability.  His gaffes always seemed to me like ones the press cared about but the people not so much— he's got real blue collar appeal.  Honestly I think if it hadn't been for the plagiarism thing way back when he could have gotten the presidential nomination and quite possibly have won.

I'm all for a more left-leaning party, but bear in mind that the Republicans' pandering to the right wing is what doomed them the past two national elections.  Having nutcakes like Mourdock around certainly did them no favors.

Too many fart jokes.

If you're a Republican, you might actually want to start with Spanish.
