I have heard people advance The Magnificent Ambersons, Touch of Evil, The Trial, and Chimes at Midnight as possibilities.  I do like all of those, though I myself wouldn't call them greater movies.

I thought NBC's decision to cut away from Aly Raisman while she was still speaking to show Wieber crying was pretty close to despicable.  One camera just stayed hovering about a foot from Wieber's face to catch it all.
