I used to think that too.  None of the songs but Tumbling Dice stuck out to me.  It probably took two more listens for Exile to become my favorite rock n' roll album.

War is the only U2 album I like, but Jesus, what an album.  Bono sings on that album like his life depended on it.  Drowning Man is such a haunting song.

Quest for Fire really is really dumb.  It's pretty funny.
