The actual movie soundtrack is (still) solid gold as far as I'm concerned and I'll fight anyone who says different haha and it's the one album, when I was younger, I would try lending to my metal-loving friends to get them into different music. It never worked :'(

Oh man, I can't tell you how much I loved the first Mortal Kombat film - the soundtrack is something I still listen to even now. The second film (and soundtrack) were absolute balls, though. It's like someone looked at what worked for the first film and did their version of it, but without any of the charm or

Holy cow, that is incredibly subtle and creepy!

I completely agree - I thought that was absolute genius haha "Oh, I wonder who we'll find at the roadhouse tonight? Wait a minute, it's OH GOD NO!"

I've really enjoyed the patience this season's employed to steadily move the pieces around the board, but by god this episode was a tough watch. Even though all the Dark Coop stuff was brilliant, and it was weirdly moving to see Big Ed back but still lonely, this episode is the first time I was tempted to fast forward

Is Josh Brolin turning into John Cena, or vice versa?

I don't understand the whole "What are THE PARTNERSHIP really up to?" thing - it's been readily apparent for ages they're farming people. How can it be any more or less nefarious than that?

Well I never! You really do learn something new every day, if you're not careful.

The good stuff was good because it was bonkers:

What about the backwards caps? WHAT ABOUT THE BACKWARDS CAPS?!

If I understand human humour, the funniest word is actually

Actually, those are really intriguing points!

For some reason, Zach was almost normal in this episode and almost, almost bearable. Why on earth he felt the need to cover up his pet cobra though, I have no idea - the maid's already seen your pet strigoi, I'd think she'd be relieved to see you've actually got a normal, pretty cool pet.

I agree this episode felt like it was spinning its wheels quite a bit, but watching Diane put those coordinates into her phone and bring up Twin Peaks was deeply satisfying.

"Are you a scientist?"
"No…"
"Well, then, shut up."

Maybe the chatbots just want us to THINK they're being forced to speak English but will still communicate in a secret code!

Hahah godspeed! Pray for the rest of us that can't turn away!

There's a pretty cool shadow monster in episode 4, and a few of the insect-related 'attacks' aren't that bad, but otherwise a maddening lack of eldritch horror! :'(

I found this episode vaguely better than last week, but it still made me roll my eyes so much they fell out and tunneled through to China, so C-.

What I love about BAD BOY BUBBY is that is actually has a good heart underneath all the sleaze; I don't think there's been a film quite like it since. Plus: the rockabilly music is still really cool.
