origin stories
The biggest problem with movies like this is the origin stories. They all have them, and they're all fucking boring and dumb.

I wasn't saying the British are more sophisticated. A good bit of the worst US television in the last 5-10 years has been direct ripoffs/franchises of ungodly awful British shows.

Iron Man was kinda boring.

At one point in the middle they take it down so low, that it ends up being just Jimi alone for a minute or two. Then they come back in and

All those gimmicks are actually very, very easy. Even Jimi didn't really play anything "great" per se, while contorted in weird ways or doing the teeth thing.

Well, he wasn't really a great singer. But he tried.
