So this flick grossed a record 60 mil on opening day — is it a good time to sell all my original mint (but out-of-package) Transformers on eBay?

They should just give all the Autobots truck nuts and be done with it.

I haven't seen either of these dumb movies, but please tell me the robots have moving lips like a normal human, but made of metal.

MY POSTCOUNT!

Yeah It's been a while so I don't remember the details. But I can't remember Jude Law's character really being that broken up over the meaning of his life. I'll have to re-watch this soon.

This film is all about an alternative computer operating system based on the Linux kernal. So what's so difficult about that?

Some deep philosophical shit starting this thread.

I didn't identify with anyone in this film and I thought it was funny. But maybe I was just laughing AT them.

Tomlin kinda baits him in those clips though. She won't let it go from what I remember. Also, she's a lesbian, and all lesbians are bitches.

Was Duplex before or after Meet the Parents? Stiller was cool up until that shit.

I (heart) I (heart) Huckabees.

As serious as David O Russell is about all this philosophical nonsense (and you see that in the DVD extras), I don't think anyone should actually try to figure out any of that bullshit in the film. If you watch it and take it all as gibberish, it greatly improves your enjoyment. Because, honestly, it is all gibberish

Naomi Watts is the star of this film.
And no mention in the article at all. She has some of the funniest lines/scenes in the film.

Do they sound like Vampire Weekend? If they don't sound like Vampire Weekend, I'm not interested.

This book assumes a lot
It assumes that you actually know of 20 modern writers, and that you care about those 20 modern writers.

The Total Fags

I got about 40 seconds in and the beat boxing started. What a mess.

Should be:

ending
Does the final third devolve into metaphysical bullshit like most anime, with a character possibly turning into a monster or gaining some crazy superpower? Oh who am I kidding, I'm not sitting through 122 minutes of near-silent anime.
