"Let me see that king hat."
"It's called a crown…you know this sir…what are you doing?".
I would add the dreaded Grease megamix to that list.
"Fade to Plaid"?
They'd also like to express their fondness for that particular show.
Justified > Mad Men > Breaking Bad
*get hit in head with empty CC bottle*
I agree, they should get that key back from Lorne.
HOW COULD YOU THINK THIS WAS A STOOL?
That fellow teenager will be the death of me!
I wanna know.. WHAT'S UP SATAN'S ASS?
I think the most effective way for a show to acknowledge the turn of a decade is, at the beginning of the episode, one character stands around and says "Well, it's the 1970's now", and another character says "Yeah, it is". That's just good writing.
Reminds me of that scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off, at the police station:
"Drugs?" "Excuse me?" "Drugs". "No thanks. What are you in for?" "Drugs."
I'd add Fortune, from one of the Challengers Bonus CDs. Feel like that one should have been on the album.
One of my favourites too.
I think Electric Version is underrated, you're right it has so many good songs: From Blown Speakers, Chump Change, July Jones, Loose Translation, Testament to Youth in Verse, Laws Have Changed, basically I'm just naming every song on the album except for a few.
I remember seeing that on Arsenio, and it was awesome.
Funny that Vanessa Bayer is in the video, considering she looks a lot like Corin. She could play her in a Sleater-Kinney biopic along with Sabrina Lloyd as Carrie, and… Lily Taylor as Janet?
The Battle of the Gentle Bands.
Best band name ever!
The reunion show will consist simply of the cast singing "Goin' On a Holiday", but no aging makeup needed!
