This was a great group of articles, and will probably push me over the edge into buying these DVDs. So well done, AV Club, and Shout Factory marketing department, who knows their geek marketing well.

Everyone is talking about how Mike has done pretty well keeping the Beach Boys' name alive, and that's true. But from a business standpoint, what is the logic here? You are going back to playing county fairs after playing far bigger venues? You are trading in a critically- and fan-acclaimed tour for one that everyone

He does solid imitations. His Paul Schaeffer imitation on Letterman was pretty amazing.

I wouldn't think there is that much to say about a failed 20 year old series. But this is fascinating stuff! Keep it up!

I don't think this show enjoys a brilliant

One thing occurred to me: If you watch the rehearsals, there was nothing to make you think Louie C.K. would be a good talk show host. But once the cameras came on, he did great. And that seems to be an under-current of this show: Louie is a great comedian, but pretty miserable everything else.

With the exception of just about everything Andy said or did, this wasn't so hot. The Ron/meat plot showed signs of the kind of broadness that proved fatal for The Office.

I love this song, one of the first to batch hipsters:
