That's a pretty good example of his dialogue, but it's also a pretty good example of typical a 17 year old's dialogue. I think he's a fairly realistic teenager with a crazy, overbearing mother who just wants to be left the hell alone.

Yeah, that scene was almost a redeeming quality of that arc. Adam comes in all like "I can handle this using my adult voice, which my goofy bro doesn't have" and then it blows up right in his face and Crosby was the perfect level of smug.
