Good call regarding Ice Station Zebra. You're correct.

Agreed, and I love this genre of film. Aside from the chase, the score, and the stylish title sequence, this movie is, unfortunately, shit.
Don't forget about all those magical hubcaps: http://news.boldride.com/20…
Ashamed to say that I actually own that on vinyl.
Even older than that. Here's Frank Zappa appearing on the 1979 incarnation. Gallagher did not make him laugh: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
Amazingly, Gwar has covered Ween before (Birthday Boy): https://www.youtube.com/wat…
I can always tell I'm in CT because the drivers are certifiable. Tailgating, lane changes for no discernable reason, speed up - speed down, etc. And I don't think MA dirvers are bad, per se, but we're definitely aggressive. CT and DC have the worst drivers I've ever encountered by a wide margin.
North of Boston, formerly Greek and Italian, transitioning to Hispanic. First guess would be Lawrence but that transition happened a long time ago. Methuen?
I'll just leave this here. J.Rocc (of the Beat Junkies) "James Brown and Friends, Part 2". Couldn't find a quick link for Part 1 but shouldn't be too hard to find. 74 minutes of expertly mixed JB and his numerous side acts: https://soundcloud.com/ngoo…
Edgar Wright apparently did that trailer in exchange for RR writing a bit of music for Hot Fuzz (track is called Avenging Angel and plays just prior Angel's return to Sanford towards the end).
They did eventually release the whole package (I own it). And I agree with Macinmosh that releasing them individually with extended cuts was a terrible idea, especially with Death Proof. It took the worst aspect of the film (boring dialogue from not terribly likable characters) and added more of it.
Blow Out is outstanding aside from the ridiculous scenes of Travolta driving through the streets of Philly. I read somewhere that a truck of the original footage was stolen and they had to re-shoot that whole sequence - so that might have something to do with it. Other demerit is Nancy Allen's performance but, in…
I don't doubt that at all but did anyone else notice the jell-o ad which ran during at least one of the episodes? They turned down free advertising and then paid for ads.

I hope the show continues with these high quality film references (Network, All That Jazz): https://www.youtube.com/wat…
The recycling has gotten so bad that I started to wonder if it was some sort of meta statement. But it's probably just DOOM on auto-pilot.
Private School! Who but Betsy Russell could make Phobe Cates look boring?
Came here to say this. Wish it would get a DVD release.
Unfortunately, it's not actually available via Netflix. You can only special order a DVD-R from the movie studio.
Probably my favorite of the album too. Love the use of sample from Donald Byrd's "Think Twice": http://www.youtube.com/watc…
