i thought it was all predictable and boring, even Pam's line about Wallmart seemed try hard. it all feels so calculated, that last scene with Sookie crying made me roll my eyes and i just waited for Tara to jump and attack. Why is Anna Paquin devolving as an actress? i swear she used to be better.

i thought this was just flat, not bad but definitely not good. Paper thin plot and even the action wasn't anything to write home about.

That's one thing i wish they'd have shown more of on the show, the cost of magic is never discussed while in the books Stannis is visibly changed by fathering the shadow babies.

The PoV structure would never work on TV, an episode of Danny per season which means one every year won't make the character interesting and most people who haven't read the book would have problems remembering who is who. The show still has a good amount of story to tell so i'm happy that it's been renewed and the latest has been a huge improvement on season 3. On the other hand i just mistrust anyone who is related to Dexter.

Getting rid of Mo was a huge mistake in my opinion, not just because he was super hot but because he had that relationship with Jackie that she had with no one even O'Hara. Thor isn't terrible but he is much more a background character.
