Part of the problem is there are very religious people making decisions based on that religion that affect the rest of us. Like the school boards that want to undercut science education because it doesn't fit with a literal reading of the bible. Or Congresspeople who say we shouldn't worry about global warming because

2015 for 10 episodes (or less if some of them are an hour)? I love the show but for fuck's sake.

Sharknado 2: The Sharknadir

@avclub-146bc30c345d31f3468fec764a1970e1:disqus Blake's identity as The Comedian was not public knowledge, Rorschach only found out when he searched his apartment. So as far as anyone knows he's just a old guy who got knocked off. Dr. Manhattan's exile is the only big news event that had happened. Rorschach had been a

Yes, but Rorschach is about to be arrested and no one else believes him. It's only when Dan and Laurie go to break out Rorschach that they get involved.

I wonder if the lack of Slo-mo in Man of Steel was a studio requirement and if it hurt him physically not to use it.

Thanks for doing these. Watchmen is my favorite book and have reread it numerous times. I was struck during a reading shortly after 9-11 by not only the obvious parallels (war in Afghanistan, an attack on New York) but also that Veidt's plan would work, if only temporarily. This is why the movie ending doesn't work,

Toward the middle of the game everyone just stops playing and talks tediously followed by a drastic scramble to wrap it up before they run out of time.

I don't want to catch anyone not drinking in their room after lights out.

From what I've read the "Burma" and "intercourse the penguin" lines were both ad libbed by Chapman. After he says "Burma" Cleese looks around, presumably at the crew, with a "what the fuck is going on?" expression and then decides to just go with it.

So she was crying about where he will be buried? Seems weird but I may be trying to apply too much logic to True Blood.

Did they bury Terry before they even told anyone he was dead or was Arlene crying over someone else's grave? The timeline in this show is really weird.

If he could foresee the future he never would have made Wild Wild West.

Dear Sir, I wish to complain in the strongest possible terms about the parody letters in the AV Club comment section that do not include the proper amount of silliness in the signature line. Yours faithfully, Brigadier Sir Charles Arthur Strong (Ms.)

He strikes me more as a Carolla fan, no one was sad to see him go.

According to jms the PPG fire is missing the usual visual distortion because they didn't have time to render it all.

It's kind of weird to see these famous sketches in context. Most of them live on now as single entities on YouTube sometimes with a bit of the connecting tissue left in before and after. Some versions of the Architect Sketch starts with Chapman's first line but keeps in the Gumbies yelling outside the window.

I still get goosebumps when I see Delenn show up at the end of "Severed Dreams." It is undoubtedly the absolute peak of the series. Even with that cheesy zoom in it does on her.

Sadly, the remote has vanished from the MATERIAL SPHERE! So it's stuck on Animal Planet.

Hey! How about a spoiler alert next time?
