Yes, and the two letter state abbreviations are not even that old of a change. I checked with on Prof. Wikipedia and it says that it was instituted in 1963, I'm not sure how widely used it was at first because I remember in the 80s being taught to address a letter as "Calif".

Hopefully he'll adopt the Christopher Nolan "one for you, one for me" style of film making.

I love how there's a pause after Johann and Gambolputty as if they are surely not going to go through the entire thing again.

Does Scudder not care about people? I always got the impression that Scudder was always a decent guy but by being an avatar of darkness he brought misery along with him where ever he went. I believe Samson says in one of his monologues that he caused the Dust Bowl just by his very presence.

I miss the freaks in season 2. Even though the conjoined twins and Gecko were little more than extras who got a line from time to time I think they added a lot of character to the show.

While I agree they fit into the series thematically, my problem is that these characters really didn't have anything to do post season 1 or 2. Had the planned Livia arc for season 3 played out she again would have been relevant plotwise.

I'd also add Junior and Livia in The Sopranos. Once both characters are no longer a viable threat to Tony they mostly just putter around and act cranky or passive aggressive.

AJ fits into the theme of things improving (or not) over time in the final season with him starting down the path to follow Tony into the mob then turning away from it.

That's not fair at all. Everyone would be too elated not to notice.

Could be worse, he could be talking into in shaving handle.
