Treefingers = basically right (I'm in Boston too). That Brown guy will have to get reelected in what is still a very liberal state. But it should be a wakeup call to the democratic party.

Dr. whatever
It pains me to say this, and he'll always be a childhood hero, but Gilliam has lost his mojo. This one is just like the Brothers Grim movie - visually and conceptually interesting but just not that entertaining. He's in the Tim Burton zone- take away the weird and what are you left with? Needlessly…
Maybe if you knew how many monkeys there were, you would like it more.
This table has been treated with ordinary soap powder, but these have been treated with new Fibro-Val. We put both of them through our washing machine, and just look at the difference. The table is broken and smashed, but the sheets, with Fibro-Val, are sparkling clean and white.
Agreed. Great movie all around.
Fair? Who's the fucking nihilist here?!
Vampire Weekend
..was the worst act I saw at Lollapalooza. At least it was a good opportunity for a nap.
Narraration
Strange.. I really hate narration in movies but several of my favorites are in this list. I would also include Shawshank Redemption and probably Trainspotting.
I'm glad someone said that.
Wait..
.. should I put in on Netflix or not? I'm so confused..
Why, Blue? Are you in some kind of Hallmark prison?
The Dark Side of the Moon
.. was the first CD I ever had.
Other than the Sox in '04, the Pats in '01, I'll put in a vote for BU Hockey 2008-2009. Down 3-1 with less than a minute left in the game - to rally and win in OT. Doesn't get much better than that.
Just saw this
I doubt anyone is going to read the comments for this movie anymore but I have to vent. I'm tired of the indy/french movie trick of leaving unresolved plotlines as a way of appearing deep or complicated.
I don't know i and 1, the other version of the "Don't Give Up" video is way the hell better and doesn't feature video of Bush (or Gabriel) at all..
Doctor, question that's always bothered me and a lot of people: Mayflower, combined with Philadelphia - a no-brainer, right? Cause this is where the Mayflower landed. Not so. It turns out Columbus actually set foot somewhere down in the West Indies. Little known fact.
I'm laughing out loud too.. best part of a very funny movie.
Boston to San Francisco with a stop in lower Manhattan.
I travel a lot - between 50-75% over the course of the year. And the no's have it. It generally sucks.
I'd probably put "Gone Baby Gone" on my list..
