Wasn't there a "News Radio" segment on it?

A Capella is kinda terrible..
Sorry veterans but A Capella falls right into the category of "only popular in college". Fucking super-cheese everywhere else. Actually buying an album of it?
Damn straight.
Red Gorilla has a mustache too. See?
"Apparently Idris Elba kills off Ali Larter's very annoying haracter two-thirds of the way through the movie, only for her to be replaced by her even more annoying twin sister."
Micheal Crichton fucking sucks. Or "sucked" I guess.
Pig Flu
"I mean, yeah, there's that massive swine flu outbreak spreading its way across the South and killing people by the dozens and sickening thousands—but that's why they make antibacterial soap, right?"
Wait, Autoconflictobot, Boston is awful? Either you've never been there, or it's pure sports rivalry.. Apparently a Boston team knocked your team out of the playoffs again. Or you're some right-wing southerner who's preacher warned him about them damn liberals..
Yeah- seriously, no way in fucking hell.
If "Les Miserables" was a movie that would have to count. Well, it is a movie, actually several, but they aren't quite as tear-jerky as the end of the opera/play/whatever. And I fucking hate broadway (the rest of it anyway).
Great call on "When the Wind Blows". That movie is tough as hell if you were a kid in the cold-war 80's with grandparents..
Hey Blarghgh, I don't think you really know what you're talking about.
The voices they use are only part of the problem. The Discovery version is also dumbed down for US audiences.
Awesome suggestion on "Fallout 3". Teach your kids the circle of post-nuclear war radioactively mutated life.
Yeah, to me that MST3K parody is spot-on. I can't get around the fake-whiny-emotional-I'm-just-so-depressed singing and high-school-girl-poet lyrics.
Tom Waits is right. Street Spirit is one fucking awesome song.
Very true.
.. yeah. And once you watch it on DVD you realize it was far better than 98% of the shit out there, but the studio execs couldn't figure it out.
PG
Other than all the (other) obvious Pink Floyd choices, I'd have to nominate Peter Gabriel's "Us" for this.
Yeah I agree. I'd throw "The Dark Side of the Moon" in there too.
