I feel like I'm watching Lost or Galactica again… Introducing deep plot then dropping it, moving onto other things, past things, other characters, come back to a plot thread, then yank the rug out and move back to old story lines… At least this show is still consistently funny, but you've got to give me some answers

He has his unborn child already.

Nah, It's always been personal. His political motivation about why people killed in Juarez don't get any justice is because his wife and child were killed and Santi Jr. was never tracked down for it. So Tate brought him to his own justice and I would expect a lot of the other targets are also related to his inability

so you're saying Gus just has to stay in eye-shot and wait for her to get horny…

I doubt that's why he left his print.
He was in Juarez and wanted to make sure he got credit for this one. Because Santi Jr. was personal, and Tate needed to be the one that got credit. Needed to make sure the investigation didn't get swept under the rug like so many other murders of high-profile victims. This one

I just kept thinking "have you never heard of a dolly?"
But then I remembered he's from Florida.

True, it is a very real brain disease that creates sociopaths and psychopaths; but it is environment that steers them to violence. Pretty much every successful capitalist is a sociopath. But they channel their complete disregard for humanity and lack of empathy into profit seeking rather than treading water until they

"the beast" is what the girl in Juarez called the guy creating all the pink crosses. you and Molly should re-watch episode 5: http://www.avclub.com/artic…

Pretty happy with this episode. It was always obvious that Childress was completely the wrong kind of crazy to be the serial killer (who isn't really the Beast, I doubt Tate has been going about Juarez killing women left and right).

Best part of the episode is that Kristen Schaal is gone… rest of it was pretty fluffy filler. Was pretty average TV, which is actually *bad* from Wilfred. Hopefully the end of the season makes up for any filler episodes they've tossed out there.

Great post, but you also forgot to add that "the confession" was also largely just to buy time. Walt had several confirmations that Hank knew things he couldn't prove to the point that he hadn't even told the DEA about any of it. So he showed Hank how easy it would be to take all this unconfirmed speculative evidence

There was quite a bit of visible breath in the last episode.

So in the flash forward at the beginning of the episode I suppose Walt was getting the ricin to prove to Jesse that he had Sal lift it for safe keeping not to use on Brock.

Seemed pretty logical to me. He's a DEA agent, they're creatures of procedure and habit. Gus certainly wasn't the first person he'd tagged with an illicit GPS tracker.

Funny… Bob did an interview on NPR (might have been on Fresh Air) last week and he was talking all about Saul and how he plays him etc… apparently he does zero improv and tries to do word-for-word dialogue. The show is written that well and he feels there's so much context in every word that he wants to deliver Saul

LOL … 5 comments before yours.

"Huell reluctantly bumps Jesse up to the front of Saul’s queue when he sees the pack of cigarettes from which he lifted the ricin. There’s no indication that Jesse is doing this deliberately;he still thinks he’s the one who lost the fake cig. But it’s an indication that Saul’s organization might be more frightened

You don't need to be Admiral Akbar to spot what they were up to. Did you not notice the conspicuousness of Low Winter Sun being between Breaking Bad and Talking Bad?

IIRC Jessie got pretty messed up by Tuco when they were trying to find someone to sell their product… Then Walt rescued him and blew the top floor off a building. Could have easily been killed rather than just beaten severely. That's when I always figured they were going to kill him after I heard Gilligan talking
