@avclub-22eda830d1051274a2581d6466c06e6c:disqus …More than the professional directors, editors, and actors The Mindy Project has on _its_ show?

This scene is cut in syndication. I had never seen it until my old roommate was marathonning the episodes on the communal TV. I guess they aired the episodes in their entirety in New Zealand, cause I had only seen the episode in repeats.

I'm just getting around to reading the rest of the review. He's actually talking about the Simpsons message boards of yore and taking them seriously.

Is this the first episode in a while that's not "considered a good one"? I liked it.

"Are you him?"

Yeah, she needed to die yesterday.

They both look great in a pair of glasses, though.

Or even Cupid or Joan of Arcadia. People just don't seem to dig vaguely theological manifestations.

@avclub-70bbc051341bb1f5c1fdb481a767c1cc:disqus I keep forgetting Spotify has comedy albums on there. I will listen to that one, then, or maybe start with his older album and go forward in time in case his voice strengthens over time.

Interestingly, no byline. Clearly Todd isn't trying to get paid by spreading those rumors about himself.

No no no, I'm trying to figure out where to start. What is the one piece of his work that has made people fall in love with him? A standup special? A particular SNL skit?

I think the second the show starts getting syndication money it'll be way too expensive for NBC to justify keeping. Kinda like Angel or whatever.

I wonder if this means Dan Harmon is going to delay his viewing of Season 4 even further, until the show actually ends.  I know he said something about wanting to view it in a bubble because it was too painful to watch it as it aired.

@avclub-2586d0717b58d4f4383144ca1341d079:disqus Wait, Fox or FX?

And don't forget that other show he wrote like, a decade ago that is being picked up on…CBS, I think? I think that show is still being developed.

I still have no idea what the big deal is about this John Mulaney guy is.  I get that he's a comedian some some sort, but I've mainly experienced his stuff via unfunny SNL skits and Tumblr GIFsets of his "standup" which were also not great.

Presumably he quit to do this, right?

I suppose, if he's not too busy raising that street urchin on the way out of his latest housing development project.

Goon was a show with an oddly unsustainable and tone deaf premise that took far too long to get decent.
