Yea that comment at the beginning is dumb. I have 10 friends who like Trump (2 of which are clearly doing it ironically/to be made aware of his positions because they DON'T like him… one of which is Nathan Rabin) and 26 friends who like Hillary. Nearly all of which seem to like her.

Funnily enough, the only person I've ever blocked because of politics is a "Never Hillary" Jill Stein supporter. He's just kind of insufferable and posts too much.

But if say, someone goes on live TV and has a profanity-filled rant, the network can ban them. Or if the A.V. Club (you know how that works, right?) has a policy against death threats to other commenters they can ban your account.

Because the racist trolls were using Twitter to be racist? And they weren't enforcing their own rules against hate speech? Like, I don't know… maybe use your brain? It's pretty obvious.

I mean it kind of makes sense. She called a traditional chorus backed by an orchestra "jigaboo music". It makes a lot more sense that she doesn't know what the word means than that she thinks violins and Sound of Music are black stereotypes.

I kind of believe that she didn't know what "jigaboo" meant, simply because she was referring to a Julie Andrews tribute where she thought Lady Gaga was being drowned out by orchestral and traditional chorus singers (less than half of which were black).
