Well my entire feed when coming from a PSU student consisted of either complete silence, PSU pride comments, or links to this guy's work: http://www.johnziegler.com/

I'm a Redskins fan from Maryland, I was talking smack to a Patriots fan about something and at one point his response was "Well, maybe your team will pack up and go to Indianapolis like the Colts did!" And it's like, that happened the year I was born, dude. That's not even a team I expressed any interest in…
I have a "friend" who got so drunk he shat on my floor. A big ass log right in the middle of our living room. We got on his case about it, basically every time his name was mentioned or he breathed for several years. He was like, "Ok, guys, I think it's run its course!" No, no it hasn't. You don't get to live…
I guess that explains last year's Sugar Bowl.
So you're saying that the PSU diploma on my doctor's wall is bullshit?
I know so many Penn State students and alumni that think that Sandusky actually didn't rape anyone and/or that Paterno did the right thing by hearing it and literally doing nothing that I don't care that Olbermann is calling them idiots after raising money. I dont' see a problem with making a sweeping judgment that…
Big Night forever and always
Right, but does Mindy's sell more cheesecake or strudel?
Yea, they all just look like colored whip cream in a pie pan. It's like when you're at a wedding and think "Aw, man! That cake is really dynamic!" and then you realize the whole thing is just fondant.
Then I don't know what to say. We took away something fundamentally different from the story. Keep in mind, the movie repeatedly compares him to Charlie Parker, and the character who committed suicide didn't fail. He was first chair in Wynton Marsalis' orchestra.
Not quite my tempo
Ben-Hur kind of does count (it's not listed, but if you type it in a box appears for it… thereby rewarding you if you consider it, but not punishing you if you don't)
Those were the 50% of the last 10 winners. I mean, I'm not saying you're wrong, but if the last 15 best director winners were black women then there's still be 75 white men. I just don't think that's a particularly good point. I don't like discounting progress because some idiots equate progress with completion.
Also, Errol Morris' Fog of War seems to do a pretty good job of mitigating LBJ's blame for that a touch.
I wouldn't describe Aiello's character as the villain at all. THat's why the film's so powerful. I think anyone watching the movie would sympathize at least a bit with him. It's Mookie's response (i.e., "The Right Thing") of throwing the trashcan through the window that's incendiary, thought-provoking, and powerful.
Eh, I was of that thinking before seeing the film (based on descriptions), but he is a little rough. To the point that he explicably ok'ed trying to wreck MLK's marriage and was less antagonistic to Wallace than MLK. His whole reason for supporting Civil Rights is simply so he's on the right side of history? They…
Hey, I actually had a recent issue of Entertainment Weekly on my desk (with Norman Reedus on the cover promoting "The Walking Dead", funnily enough) and looked at The Must List….
It turns out the Ghostbusters reboot stars Horatio Sanz and is going to be influenced by Don't Look Now with a score by Father John Misty……
"Oh! Paul was that alien movie, right?"
-Paul Feig
"… Paul Feig's announced all-female Ghostbuster reboot! D'oh!"
Right, but everyone's always saying you don't love America and you probably don't get enough sleep, and you keep worrying about accidentally pressing that "Disentegrate Russia" button. Fuck, man! I got gray hairs just thinking about it!
