Re: Brian- not just unmentioned, but Jim says that "they'd become close" w/he and his wife- okay, I can see those parts being edited-out of the footage for documentary-integrity purposes, but considering they made the editing choice in the past to leave in the parts such as where the cameraman clues Pam in to

And who that is should be the super-duper reveal at the end of the series. I'm guessing Harry Shearer or Christopher Guest, which would simply break the internet.

Thanks to this comment, I'm now going to have Jim Ross' voice doing play-by-play in my head whenever I watch this show, even in reruns. Oh great, Jerry the King Lawler is right there with him. Can't wait for the episode(s) where Meredith loses articles of clothing.

I double-checked to make sure, but Andy is the older brother, who was originally named Walter after his father. He was such a disappointment to his parents that when his brother was born, they stripped him of the name and renamed him Andrew, a name that "they got out of a baby book"

Maybe Val is annoyed w/Pam and didn't feel like bothering- could be anything, but probably b/c her association w/Jim, who is responsible for Daryl moving/working in Philly and, as a result, affecting their relationship to the point where he actually wanted to break-up.

Actually, that's not far from one of my suspicions… they're only still filming "to see how you guys end up" or whatever they said to J/P in the first episode of the season. Knowing that, how do they allow one of their crew to start pulling the stuff he's doing- you can't tell me that he's kept his infatuation this

I commented more thoroughly above, but I agree wholeheartedly

I didn't even finish reading the article before doing a search just to see if someone added The Wheel of Time in a comment somewhere.
I began the series in 1990, right when Book 2 came out in HC, and my friends along the way knew full well how big a deal it was for me when each subsequent book came out. Yes it got

Regarding that last sentence, wondering if that gets brought up (I don't recall if he ever told Pam the details of how obvious Cathy was being). I just picture Jim finding out about Brian's actions in some way- maybe a sympathetic cameraman plays it for him- maybe she mentions it, and whatever the circumstances might

I agree it is bullshit. They're making him out to be self-centered, by (gasp!) actually enjoying aspects of the work, but he's clearly bothered by the distance/situation as well. He obviously misses his kids and was hoping to see that video to take the edge off a rough day. But in general, he took a big risk and is

Maybe he'll see her on the street and rush to attack her again, but this time, Roy picks up the piano he's playing nearby and smashes him in the face, saving her again. Because, we just haven't been beaten enough with the suggestion that maybe she made the wrong choice.

I loved his scenes, and I think I was legitimately upset at both Dwight and Pam when they told him his mother was dying. He nailed that reaction.
