from everything I've heard and the few pages I've read, Grey is manipulative, narcissistic, and lacks impulse control and empathy, so maybe it is realistic when considering your POV.

While I agree the friend-zone stuff and the goods bit is problematic at least in phrasing and framing, Caitlin is very much flirting with Barry and Barry has actually realized how unhealthy his pattern with Iris is. The show is on notice with me though.
Show-Iris can negate the speed force. This is why Barry has been so slow to move on.
remember when Ollie became poor at the end of last season and never resolved or addressed that plot thread in any way this season?

Well if we're going to add answers that should be obvious from our usernames then I'll add Captain Benjamin Sisko to my list.
Veronica Mars has been on the list for years. Maybe someday.
I'm not familiar with Flash far beyond DCAU a few crossover comics and events, wikipedia, and the live action shows. I just kinda pretended it was an ability the Pied Piper actually had in the show universe but was being strategically subtle about. He certainly seems to be playing a longer game than simple petty…
Which is a better angle for an anti-flash task force than what we got.
My inner 6 year old hopes you told him, "beans".
Also, Piper doesn't actually know Barry is the Flash, does he? He just needed access to the footage and doesn't know that this isn't some random cop's cube.
I'm hoping that is due to Pied Piper's actual metahuman power but I doubt it will be written that way.

And if you ignore the murder and deception, Wells is a pretty good uncle.
Hmm, you are right. Shoulda checked (actually done) my calculations.
it seems like the writers forgot for most of this season as well.
After thinking on it, this episode had some surprisingly layered writing. All the stories had a running theme of relating to relationships in the face of extraordinary change. Peekabo was granted an incredible power set but her attachment to an unhealthy relationship caused her to end up in a worse prison than the…
-Caitlin's metahuman ability: functional alcoholism. Stealing drinks. Running Up her tab. Karaoke. Being almost entirely but not quite as straightforward as fucking possible about wanting to bone Barry.
This may have been mentioned before, but I realized while watching that Barry wears a mechanical watch; the time dilation caused by his near constant super-speed would mean it will always run slow, so, as-in-universe, he would be more tardy with powers than he was without.
