I am always surprised by the hate for the character especially considering that Franklin has the same arc and hits the same beats as seasons 1-4 Bashir and is played by an equally likable actor. I can certainly see how other characters are liked so much more- the B5 ensemble is certainly less even than DS9 in terms of

I preferred to think of that as the spiritual successor to Quantum Leap. The cool thing about that show was that it showed the changes in the timeline and had one of the most realistic marriages ever portrayed in TV SF. Also, Moon Bloodgood. Hey, anyone remember Daybreak?

Not a fan of Wall-E?

I thought this was canon?

This is the correct answer. The calm coolness of Gambit, the intelligence of Xavier, the hairstyle of wolverine, and blue!

I understood Irzu to be the same entity that was haunting Quentin as his dead brother. The being also showed up as Sukar for a second. If Nolan had died, I wouldn't be surprised if it appeared as him too. It's god as the most vulnerable part of yourself- another version of the smoke monster.

How about a Harley triggered, accidental, non-fatal gunshot wound to the larynx followed by a death by diabetes? Rob him of his silver tongued snark and ability to laugh and die a sad and ordinary death. Then have Harley become a frighteningly efficient villain (or antihero) with Mr J as her sidekick until his

In Returns and from what I read from the reviews, Man of Steel, the creative

This is essentially the concept for Andromeda. It was even rumored that Andromeda was supposed to be Trek and you can see some of the parallels: Commonwealth = Federation, Magaog =  Borg, Nietzscheans =  Klingons, Perseids =  Vulcans. The rumor also goes that Paramount passed on it

I don't think it's been mentioned here, but in Georgia's case, Will would have acted exactly the same way even without the encephalitis- double (triple?) crime scene contamination and all. The entire episode was him empathizing with someone without logical thought unlike his previous collars who were nuts but present.

Thank you! I am amazed by the consistent level of insight and high measure of decorum on this board and hope I can add to the continuing discussion.

Now that would be cool! I think Farrell would have had to play the part subtly different in some of the earlier episodes to foreshadow it but it would make Jadzia a (the first?) linked solid. Actually, come to think of it, Dax is one of the few characters who might have been written to be able to understand the

Totally agree. This episode works as a capstone to the last two. Winger isn't usually that introspective and isn't going to let the group in on his problems, but he knows he needs their help. He also realizes (and we need) to see him really indulge in the wackiness before he leaves and forever loses the chance.

After years of lurking, I registered to share that I just realized that they missed an astronomical opportunity with the reveal:
