According to IMDb, Jesse L. Martin is listed as connected to a project "In Development" called "Sexual Healing". Hmmmmm!!!!!!

I'm now curious; has Ebert ever refused to rate a movie before this one? I'd be quite interested in the what/when/why of it.

I have read exactly one sentence describing the plot and I too am having "morbidly-obsessed thoughts".

I do too (live in Nashville) and I haven't either (seen "Nashville"). I am shamed.

Oooh! Fun fact about Lifehouse (since it hasn't been mentioned yet here): They are one of those subversive "Christians in the band, *not* a 'Christian band'" bands. "Hanging by a Moment" was originally a worship song they played at their church in SoCal. For that alone I hate it.

"Get a Grip" was the first album I bought with my own money. Mind you, this was after years of only being exposed to Christian rock. I didn't have much to go on, you know?

Tom Brokaw Reports: The Greatest Generation; "We didn't have TV!"

To be clear, I'm posting here right now because…

"I repeat what the computer says. Yeah, that's my job. I look pretty and I repeat the computer."

(a-HEM)

I saw Ocean's 12 in the theater (hey, Ocean's 11 was good).

Jaunito,

Eddie Dean,

I'm with ya'lls on the no torture porn thing. And for me, that does include most serial killer movies (because it could really HAPPEN).

You know, I don't really see the problem with the acquisition of sitcom ideas from Twitter. Hell, I named one of my bands after a friend's Myspace name (remember how we could like, pick our names for Myspace? They could be like, all weird and shit!.

Might that compromise my internet annonymity?????

Doppelganger…

He played here in Nashville maybe four years ago. He played at The Ryman, our historic, built-to-be-played-in-without-amplification venue. I was a super-poor college student at the time.

Not to harp constantly on Tom Waits' brilliance (I do, I'm afraid), but he sobered up right before Swordfishtrombones. He did great swilly-bar-singer/songwriter-piano ballads in the 70's, but the 80's saw him married, sober, and making the strangest and best music of his career.

Um…yes it did.
