So…Arliss Howard was the villain in the second Jurassic Park, and Vincent D'Onofrio is the villain in the fourth? Matthew Modine's gotta be in the sixth one, surely?

I Chu-Chu-Choose You
Dr Lucien Sanchez (played by "Todd Rivers," played by Matt Berry).
On a related note, it appears that the complete series of The Wonder Years is finally coming to DVD (and with the original soundtrack left intact):
When I was a kid, my lifeline of subversive wit comprised Mad and The Simpsons. I must've built up about 20 years' worth of Mad back-issues from visits to swap meets and second-hand bookstores. (I still think that Mort Drucker is the greatest caricaturist in history.)
"You got a lot of nerve showing your face around here, Howser."
Dr Rick Dagless, M.D.?
When I watched The Wonder Years, I was too pre-pubescent to get lust for anyone on TV (that changed a few years later - hello, Agent Scully). In hindsight, though, I wouldn't have had much of a thing for Winnie Cooper anyway, if only because Madeleine was clearly the resident fox of that show (and the only thing more…
Battyman obviously wasn't creative enough for Mad, as it was followed by Buttman Returns.
Doogie must've seemed even more cutesy-poo when it was aired next to The Wonder Years (a show that didn't hold back with depressing endings and its protagonist acting like a jerk a lot of the time).
Yeah, and the bulk of the song was over before Chuck got the call - most of what he heard, if anything, would've been Marty's ill-advised feedback outro.
Reminds me of all those Star Trek movies in which the Enterprise is tasked with a dangerous mission despite being unready and/or understaffed, because apparently it's the only ship available.
So…maybe Vinnie was really one of Carla Tortelli's no-good sons?
I can't remember a damn thing about Doogie Howser beyond its premise, even after watching plenty of episodes back in the day. In Australia in the early 90s, Doogie Howser screened once a week right after premiere episodes of The Simpsons (seasons 2-3-ish, I think).
What about the fact that every episode of Clarissa Explains It All had Sam climbing into Clarissa's bedroom? Nothing lewd going on there, but probably because Clarissa being a Republican made Sam's erection dwindle.
The only Cracked magazine I ever read was an issue from 1991 that had parodies of Naked Gun 2½ and Hot Shots! - I was only 10, but smart enough to realise how creatively bankrupt Cracked was to parody movies that were already parodies.
"I must break you…right after I break into song."
Darling did mention Doris in the "General Hospital" episode, when he was sobbing under Blackadder's interrogation.
Undrinkable Grenadine.
Did you check out the comments on the recent article about Queen's The Game? There's a thread there about Ben Elton going to shit.
