That's true, it's not really clear why he's manager other than Jim, Dwight, and Daryl liked him and Jim and Robert California didn't want the job.

I totally agree. They hinted at this last week with the whole "what would you be doing if you weren't selling paper?" convo, but then it didn't go anywhere.

In all the crap, I forgot how funny that Abe Lincoln impression was.

WHY DO I KEEP WATCHING?!

Seriously, Jane Krakowski has been killing it as Jenna this season.

"He’s not billing hobos at night anymore.”
I thought it was "killing hobos at night anymore." Anyways, pretty good episode. Loved the Liz and Jenna storylines, agree with the reviewer about Jack and Avery. I'm happy about the set finale date, I want to see these characters get closure.

That's very true. I'd love a full season, but I wouldn't be heartbroken if the 7 episode thing happened. I just don't want Scandal to reach mid-career Grey's Anatomy levels of awful. No ghost of Amanda Tanner haunting Olivia from the beyond.

No! It has been getting so good these past few episodes. The pilot was horrible, but I'm so happy I stuck around.

I could see 7-episode seasons working really well for Scandal. They managed to get a good thing going by coupling weekly small problems with a long-haul plot, but I can only care about Olivia and the President giving each other goo goo eyes for so long.

Yeah, I got the feeling that I could grow to like the characters more. My friend recommended the second season, maybe I'll start there.

I think I need to give this show another shot. I made it halfway through the first season and lost interest.

I'm just really happy that everyone (in the comments) hates Eden. Last week's review made it sound like she was a great addition, but I think the show has suffered because of her.

@olivececile:disqus You're right, I didn't really look at it that way. I guess I was too annoyed by Eden's "chia seed" voice to notice.

It's a shame because Levy was pretty great in Shameless and the actress who replaced her has been pretty flat.

It seemed like she was more just annoyed by Eden's general presence and weirdness than her quick intrusion in and control over their lives. Basically, it seems like Tessa wouldn't care about Eden at all if Eden were a "normal" person who was cool with toaster struedels and wifi. I guess that's ok, but I expected a

Haha, I actually watched the first season of that show and then kind of forgot about it. Gives me a reason to revisit it.

800-588-2300, EMPIRE.

WHY DID IT TAKE ME SO LONG TO PUT THAT TOGETHER!?

I hate all the Eden stuff. She came out of nowhere and all of a sudden she's dictating Tessa's life? It seems like Tessa would have a "hey, you and my dad have known each other for 2 weeks, you don't know me, you don't really get a say here" moment.

I would've preferred to see how she met her ninja trainer, but it had some fun moments.
