Never heard the radio show, but on tv he was bright, articulate, informed with the latest technology, just a perfect host for a show of that type.

I remember thoroughly enjoying "The Screen Savers", "AOTS's" predecessor with Leo Laporte as host. Back when PC culture was in its heyday, it was entertaining, informative, and an all-around must-see on Tech TV. Looks like those days are all but over.
RIP…bulky, suitcase-sized computers with inconvenient peripherals.
