I really enjoyed it too. I thought it was great. My favorite line was Joan on the phone with her husband describing Don as grinning like a great big fool, as if he was the only man who ever thought of marrying his secretary. I cracked up.

Yes and I thought the looks on Pete and Don's faces were freaking hysterical after Ken told them that this wasn't his life, his life was the woman he was marrying.

Faye & Peggy
It was f'd up beyond belief that he threw Faye into the garbage, and proposed to Megan. He doens't know her at all. Did you notice how he lies to Peggy and tells her that "it's been going on for a while"? No it hasn't. It was an insane decision to get him away from a woman who was beginning to really

Angel and Laguerta have been dragging this show down for two seasons now. I don't know what's wrong with the writers. But it's on them. 100 percent.

Deb is not boring. The guy who plays Quinn got so ugly during the off season (how does that happen? he was last year) and is such a dumb character that I can't stand any scene with him in it. Still not as bad as a scene with Angel and Laguerta though.

Henry
I thought there was probably a reason for showing Henry reading Don's NY Time's article.

Lucky Strike
Once Roger breaks the news about Lucky Strike, isn't it going to become imperative that they take American Aviation no matter what? I think Don is headed for something life-altering this season.

I really can't tolerate the Angel character. Some people feel that way about Deb (I love her) and some felt that way about Rita, but for me, it's Angel. LaGuerta is a boring character who had some interesting moments in the first season when she was hitting on Dexter and then in the second season when she screwed

LOL @ stereohead.

Really you don't understand?

Really, you don't understand?

There's some pretty extensive literature about it, and it makes for fascinating reading. From almost throwaway paragraphs in "Nixonland" about hippy guys saying "hey let's fuck" to hippy girls, and when turned down, sneering at them that they must be lesbians, to the writings of the women themselves who were involved

Joan & Peggy
I think that Joan has become a walking anachronism. She is very 1950's, even in her shape which was considered the height of feminine beauty during that era. Remember when Don said that Marilyn (Monroe) was really a Joan? Joan owned the 1950''s in many ways because she at the full height of her

Oh, I already had his baby
I loved the look Pete's face when he sees Peggy and Trudy walking out of the bathroom together. Like he's wondering if Peggy turned to Trudy and told her she'd already had her husband, not to mention his baby, what else you got?

I agree with you, to me the show is getting better and better.

No. She isn't.

1965
"If so, I liked that better than her other big line this week about how Peggy's boyfriend "doesn't own your vagina." That sounded like a sitcom joke from 2010, not something from 1964."

Misogny is an expression of hatred towards women, which many of these ads expressed. Certainly, Flo tv and the Dodge Charger ad did. A hate crime, would be if you beat a woman up because she was a woman. Which btw happens every day just in this country.

Well, you know, that's straight out of the 1980's Backlash, and it's why we need us annoying bleeding heart feminists. Pick up Susan Faludi's Backlash, it'll give you a good preview of what you're going to be see more and more of. Unless, you know, you just want to continue to be like really kewl and tell awlllll

Well Noel
the "outrage" was over the fact that in the past cbs has always turned down "advocacy" ads, including from many liberal groups like moveon. Freedom of speech cuts both ways, yes? It's not just for Sarah Palin…no matter what she might tell you.
