I'm with you. I'm fine with them and what they were and what they've done but I don't know why anyone would care at this point. I'm sure they're all swell, but relevance is a beach and they're not gleefully irrelevant enough for my tastes.

I think this is going to be his most relaxed album, whereas his prior work is a little more fractured and bumpy. Cosmo and Los Angeles are both definitely worth hearing, but very different than this. (Although I may prefer this.)
Try youtubing some of his Low End Theory sets from the late oughts. No disrespect to…
