I get where you're coming from. And I do see where people can find the abstraction of wargaming to lack taste; perhaps it's all down to what we find more fascinating or important about a topic. I imagine we won't convince one another that we're "right" on this one. :-)

The Photoshopbattles subreddit is just an amusing time-wasting machine, not really a meme generator. Someone posts a picture and people respond by photoshopping it in (hopefully) imaginative and (more hopefully) funny ways. The PS job with the most upvotes wins.

I think there are media more appropriate to this kind of subject. I don't believe commercial boardgames are a good one. I never said other media are invalid. Please stop arguing against points I'm not making.
