Agreed, though this same reviewer (whose I work I often really enjoy by the way) gave Honey Boo Boo a free pass even though it is far more exploitative than this show (in my opinion anyway. That shit involves kids). Kind of annoying.

This episode just felt like something they had to get out of the way before the actual show started. The exposition dumping was unbearable, but I agree with Rowan that it does make me very interested in seeing what the show will really be going forward.

Liked it. Funnier than any new show I've seen this year, but then again it's a pretty weak year for new comedy on TV.
