Classic, I think. Mrs Featherbottom falling off the stairs onto the table will be funny in any time period.

SPOILER FOR MINOR DETAIL AT THE END!!!!

1. The only thing I could think of is that he fell into the water that Infected Mia was in, so the water was always infected. They seemed to linger on him in the water a weirdly long time.

I see what you mean, but compared to Old Who it looks freaking amazing. I guess that's good enough for me.

Really? I watched "New Earth" right before watching this episode and was astounded at how much better the effects are, the CGI backgrounds especially.

Maybe she could end up BEING the Doctor after Smith somehow. How does that make sense? It doesn't but her mystery plot is leading to something big (hopefully) and this show can pretty much get away with anything with some sci-fiish hand waving.

I like it. It's not the best season of Who but it's still a lot of fun and I look forward to it every week. It has a pretty decent batting average and even the ones I don't love (like this one) have moments in them that make me feel like I didn't waste my time, unlike say "Love & Monsters".

Woah, I didn't love this episode but are people really comparing it to those two stinkers? This was much, MUCH stronger than both of them.

Normally I'd think this is pretty funny, such obvious trolling is hard to come by. But this is an obituary, so kindly fuck off.

He was also the douchey film school student in Grave Encounters 2!

I…kind of liked this. It was just SO weird, TV could use more "WTF" moments.

Crazy talk. Old actress has it by a mile.

"The Midnight Sun" has always been one of my favorite episodes for all the reasons you mentioned, if it were to be made in 2013 it would almost certainly be nasty and cynical (and if it was on cable, rape-y) but here it's just tragic. No one in the story is really a "bad" person, like you said, even the man who breaks

When the guy drawing sexual My Little Pony fan art comes off as the nomal one, you know there is a problem.

I must be an old man, I don't understand what any of this means.

No there was still funny stuff after that, just not in that episode. The Body is also one of the best hours of TV ever so there's also that.

The 5th season of Buffy could be very funny!

Anyone know if this thing will show up on Hulu or A&E's website tomorrow?

Just read it, very cool that they filmed at the Berkeley Pit! They tried to fill it in during the early eighties so I never really saw it when it was actually operating. I'd love to see it before it was just "the giant old pit that makes Butte smell weird".

Butte, Montana is in this show?? I have to check it out. Seriously, Butte is a weird-ass place and I'd love to see what it looked like in the early '60s.
