It could give them a great opportunity  to have the characters reflect on their pasts, and having accomplished (or not accomplished) what they wanted 9 years ago. But I doubt the show would be able to pull that off very well at this point.

I believe Daniels has mentioned that the last 10 or so episodes will occur when the documentary is on the air…I'm like 98% sure he said that at least…
