Ok, finally signed on. But yeah, didn't mean to knock "Don't." It is greatness.

Hey, no multi-posts! My argument stands.

If you ever needed any proof that Santa isn't real, there it is. No Santa I believe in would argue for the Star Wars prequels.

You may not be the only one, but sadly you and everyone else skipping that wagon is missing out.
Personally, I was skeptical until I saw AMC was involved. Wow, never thought I'd ever say that after AMC became the go-to place for lame Halloween sequels.

eh, I don't think it was necessarily horrible, but the movie was a better movie than the book was a book. I thought the movie did a decent job of expanding on the world of the book. Some characters and the plot were similar, but mostly the movie just took aspects of the world from the book and made them more real

    Double Feature
Another movie I would recommend as a double feature with Evil Dead II would be Raising Arizona. I believe they were released the same year, and of course there are the Coen-Raimi connections. While not similar in subject matter or genre, the comic tone is very similar, as are half the shots. Though

    Yay, the sample track appeared.

Thanks Anonymous W, I knew more had to exist, but have had trouble finding them. Unfortunately, most of my metal searching has only turned up bands that urge Rick Fire's question:
"beyond volume and leveling up what's the real difference between [crappy*] metal and emo anyway?"
To which the answer seems to be: metal

Actually, my particular comments were not meant as any reflection of a AVC bias against metal, but more as a complaint about a bias towards dorks I guess. Oh, and fuck you too Pig. I happen to like D&D bullshit. In fact, though I'm aware I'm totally misinformed, I'm unaware of many modern metal bands that do the

    Huh?
Wait, so it's not cool to write songs about battle axes and wizards unless you're being ironic? Fuck that. I want more metal bands to write songs about wizards and dragons without being ironic. Their first album is what made me like metal again, only to find that too much metal is either ironic or far too

Hell yeah, no more conflicting with my Lost viewing, you CW bastards! Yay!

    I'm gonna play internet(s) jack-ass for a bit.

This movie ranks among the best kids movies ever. I don't think the review quite did justice to how dark the message for most of the movie is. Even if you're nice and helpful with the best interests of everyone, you're likely to screw things up horribly. The only other kids movie I can think of that is as sadistic

"Wouldn't the perfect assassin be non-descript and ordinary looking, average height, brown hair, no fucking BARCODE TATTOO on his HEAD?"

I thought it was, but didn't have the patience to rewind to find out.

I just assumed Goodwin had been cheating on his wife for a long time.

    Only more kick-ass.

    ?
Well, my comment just vanished, but I was going to correct my typo. So when it returns, know that I'm aware that it should be 'your' not 'you are.'

    No!
I'll just have to ignore this review until I listen to the album. No offense Mr. Gordon, it's just that I'm so into this band I can't accept you're C+. Can't wait to see them play with O'Death. Now that's an awesome fucking line-up.

    The Sickness
I'm really excited to think they may have finally explained the sickness that Rousseau refers to in the first season, and they did it in such a way that totally justifies not dealing with that mystery and no one having gotten sick yet.
