Man, I forgot about that. It's real close, but that episode of Boomtown was awesome. The whole character trajectory for him that season was superb. Of course, the Boomtown and Justified connections are many.
The best acting I've ever seen McDonough do was towards the end of Season 1 of Boomtown, in an episode called Blackout. Won't spoil it, but McDonough was great as the ADA spiraling out of control. Well, that was the best thing until tonight. I think Win Duffy and I had the same look on our faces tonight.

I thought the scene where Rick comes clean to Lori about killing Shane was shot very well. The more he talks, the further away she pulls, using both her body (backing away) and the camera (zooming in on Rick to make Lori appear further away). Well done.
