It's tough as fuck. You work at a label/radio station/publisher and maintain your producer contacts. And all it truly is in most instances is compromise, compromise, compromise. Directors/producers always want THIS, but they can only afford this. Why can't they have THIS? WHY??

This is some thrilling shit, guys.

I've always found him fascinating in that he always plays whatever the fuck he wants to. What I mean is, I grew up listening to the "Dave Grohl Symmetry" where every chorus/verse had the same fill and whatnot. I was in junior high when I started playing and this was adopted by my (of course) idol at the time, Travis

This "That's gnarls, Barkley" thing you did, let's just stop doing that.

YES. My friends and I loved that clip.

I think we're looking at a Speed Racer situation here: most everyone thought it was terrible when it came out and it flopped, but word-of-mouth and pay cable showings are going to reflect more positively on it.

I'd give it a solid B. Saw it this weekend and was so much more entertained than I thought I would be. The 3D wasn't terrible either. If you're gonna see it, go while it's still in theaters. Really pretty despite a mostly bland color scheme.

Actually, what trashy reality show has Fox put on in a while? That's more the other networks now.

No.

Was I supposed to hear this in Buster Poindexter's voice?

You know they'll make it like a documentary: fake talking heads, "archival" footage. I just don't see it happening any other way.

Dammit. I really like Colette Wolfe. Hope she doesn't get sucked into his vortex of suckiness

Both of you win.

Yeah, the older stuff is still great. Totally forgot about "Soft Rock Star." That song is so smooth and loveable.

"Waves" is great. Love "Monster Hospital" and also love "Sick Muse." Fantasies was so much better to me about a year after it came out.

But to me the reason we care about animals more in a film is because they're pretty much innocent in these movies. And eating a chicken/cow/pig/whatever while it's cooked and on your plate is much different than seeing a dog get ripped apart by vampire zombies.

Hey. I like this comment.

Favorites are Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Parks & Rec. They'd fit in nicely here though they suck at talking about how much they want to fuck particular
