Oh what a day

The hardware looks really good and 300 seems to be a fair price for it. The software concerns me. It seems that the assumption is everyone who has one would be using a smartphone so there is no need to do anything on its own that a smartphone can already do. Music? No. Streaming Video? No. Web browser? Of course not.

Finished Dragon Age Inquisition and my feelings are roughly the same as they were hour 10 on, it’s an alright, sometimes pretty good game that is entirely carried by the companions. It’s not that I didn’t enjoy it, it was just inconsequential and long. Also Sera refused to take my woo advances probably cus at one

Heresy! I've got the oscar fever!

It's Christmas in Tinseltown, the academy awards!

I've been really enjoying Back to Basics custom mode BF1. No tanks or planes and everyone only has a rifle with iron sights so it's a lot less dying before getting the chance to do anything and a lot more brutal hand to hand combat deaths. It's a really nice change of pace from the insanity of vanila. I'm also

Dragon Age Inquisition: I'm on the home stretch and am still mostly enjoying it but at the same time kind of wondering if all the time was well spent. Even though i'm ignoring most of the sidequests it's still a pretty massive game that has relatively few memorable moments outside of party camaraderie, but I really do

I definitely recommend going through this blind if it is your sort of thing. It also helps that this is the most solid album yet.

Let my armies be the rocks and the trees and the birds in the sky.

Yes, Sera was the highlight.

Oh t(h)anks! I didn't think to look in custom game modes as it's kind of hidden away in the corner. Back to basics sounds pretty fun as well.

I think it's pretty good but it's also a game where the hours start to really add up over time and i'm wondering if it's worth it in the end considering i could've finished a half a dozen other games in that time. My biggest problem with it is that nothing particularly feels like it has any weight to it. There aren't

Dragon Age Inquisition. I just played a disappointing mission where you were at the party and you were solving a mystery except the party sucked, the mystery solved itself, and nothing really happens. The best part was Leliana constantly telling me “don’t underestimate them they are just demons of another kind” and I

My biggest concern right now is online play and functionality. The only way they mentioned it was through a smart phone app and that the only way to use voice chat is through a smart phone. This generally seems like it makes the experience more cumbersome and less intuitive than it ought to be (that and, i don't have

My reaction is pretty mixed as well. While it's neat how robust the little controllers are i'm not sure how much they will be utilized outside of niche party games. It also makes the problem that almost every controller has to be capable of playing every game and style of game so they become expensive (the pro

Best bet will be to wait to get a refurbished system whenever they become available. My Wii U's refurbished and it was top quality and even had a 1 year warranty.

Vampyr might be the sleeper hit of the year. I'm pretty excited to see how it turns out. I also hope it's appropriately brutal when it counts.

They just showed bits and pieces but they are also releasing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and there is a full trailer here.

Also it's on as a movie so no commercials.

This weekend they are doing a "free trail" of the death star DLC. Considering that's the only dlc i'm really interested in i'm going to be sure to check it out.
