Damn, the first time I actually saw a Lyndon LaRouche pamphlet I burst out laughing remembering that joke.  There really is some crazy shit in there.

Yeah, I think they missed out on not starting the movie with them watching Itchy and Scratchy: The Movie 2

God I love that line, it just seems to encapsulate all the sneering anger between stars and fans perfectly.

Itchy is a lot like Homer that way.

There really isn't any canon in the series past, present or future episodes but as much as there is personal canon, I only accept Lisa's Wedding as far as future episodes go.

There were some jokes I liked in that episode, like old Krusty getting jokes handed to him on a cue card.  "What's the difference between Pakistan and a pancake?"

I would say season 9-10 was the transition from more than half the season was good to more than half the season was bad.

Homer does have a point, Itchy is a jerk.

Except anyone with good taste

Because you're on the internet and thus not a real person.

Sometimes a comedian can get a lot of mileage out of not changing their expression until at very need.

Bart isn't an actual ten year old boy.

Matt Groening angrily said it wasn't but I don't really hold him as an authority.  Later on in Lisa's future we see him studying to become a lawyer.  Even later we see him as a bum when Lisa is President but that episode is awful.

I'll say this about KGBeast, he was no K.G. Bird.

That's less of a retcon and more of just fucking around.

In Big Willy's defense he was ordered to write another Falstaff story by Queen Elizabeth.  In my experience, artistic integrity always trails behind appeasing someone with the legal authority to cut your head off for shits and giggles.

For me, Aquaman's best power is being able to make that sonar sound  with his head.  I wish I could do that.

Maybe.

I don't care what anyone says, I love that movie.  Does anyone else find this guy's advice a little pat.  If you want to go right you have to go left, if you want to push something down you have to pull it up.

I'd honestly like to see a Squirrel Girl movie.  Written by Ben Edlund.  With the final villain be the original incarnation of Galactus in all his no pants glory.
