What does being "tortured" have to do with it?"Tortured-hood" is not the criterion you laid out here!

Also - how many people do you suppose - outside of the AV Club comment section - actually know who Dan Harmon is, versus how many know who Tina Fey is? And of that greater number of people who are able to identify Tina Fey, do you think they would not identify her with the show she's been running and starring in for…
Wait - you're really going to say that 30 Rock is just as intertwined with Carlock as it is with Fey - that the fact that its very premise was based on recapitulating a cartoon-nightmare version of Fey's years at SNL had nothing to do with anything? And you're also going to assert that it's just a coincidence that Fey…
Extras was not brilliant. The five minutes in each episode where he's talking to the guest star are (mostly) brilliant. Extras, as a series, is kind of eh.
"No network comedy has been more intertwined with its showrunner than Community has been with Harmon." Seriously? More so than Tina Fey and 30 Rock, which was run by Tina Fey, starred Tina Fey, and was based on the life and experiences of Tina Fey?
You can get Emmys for writing the Oscars? What?
That's not "some Illuminati shit" - that's shit you can read in the New York Times and Haaretz. Bibi Netanyahu has been openly agitating for air strikes on Iran for several years now. As for whether or not Israel would be "stupid" to want war with Iran, they were very, very, very happy to see war with Iraq back in…
Most of the vocal complaints about Michelle Obama showing up at the Oscars have been coming from the right, but really, I groaned at that, too. What exactly does the president (or his wife) have to do with the movies? Isn't having Michelle Obama up there at an event like the Oscars just a tacit endorsement of the idea…
Why do we have to pick one or the other? I found him offensive and lame.

Preach it, Camaxtli!
Farscape is a lot of fun. It's not perfect, but what modern sci-fi series is? It has its clunks and its oddities, and there are parts of it that've aged better than others, but there are some things it gets so right.
And in season one (or two? it's been a while) we find out that Malory helped carry out the '53 coup in Iran, as well.
This was a pretty mediocre episode, but its mediocrity stems almost entirely from trends that were firmly established under Dan Harmon's tenure (over-emphasis on Abed's quirks/mental disorders, reduction of Troy to man-child status, pandering to the shippers, etc.). I've watched the last three episodes, and I have to…
I have to stand up for turkish delight. If the stuff you're getting tastes like "hard candy dipped in sugar," you're getting weird old stale stuff; good turkish delight is delicate, soft and light, with subtle flavors. Not worth selling your soul for, maybe, but still pretty good.
Ron Moore should really try not to mix religious with his sci fi by now.
Maybe that kid is secretly a sexy, murderous lady that you should meet and have sexy, murderous sex with.
Well, @avclub-4c22933415130955839224009df8641f:disqus and @avclub-b63f73301fe289a7c258eb2e3f4986ce:disqus , I'll meet back with you in ten years and we'll see how the sky-rocketing fortunes of Tina Fey, Gold-Studded Master of the Universe are faring.
