No more Veronica Mars reviews, so weird to not see it show up… This is depressing.

I could just be using it as an excuse for the shitty writing at the time. Heroes season two… My God.
That writer's strike fucked so many series up. Still annoys me. Nothing was written properly or planned out, it was all a big rush and a mess. At least that's how I remember it anyway.
Could've been Veronica Mars a la season four pitch. Instead, was Veronica Mars a la season four pitch.
Never undercount the sassy.
Taken over from Bored to Death as having the best final scene/closing credits songs.
@avclub-eac75edc18b8546c46893fe4b75ab995:disqus They were in a desperate situation and a David E. Kelley legal drama seemed like a safe bet. It actually did pull good numbers last year (for NBC's poor position) at 10pm but then they put it at 9pm and now 8pm and the numbers keep dropping. I don't understand the idea…
Is there no love for Harry's Law!?!?
Drama: Ally McBeal, The Good Guys. Prison Break season one was really brilliant.
He was in the Terriers pilot?! Holy shit, worlds colliding even further.
Absolutely, me too. I'm a bit surprised it didn't get a mention in the review.
Rob Thomas has said that Vinnie would've won the election. I think that would've been really awesome to watch play out. Veronica and Keith vs. Vinnie (who now has the power of the law behind him). Lamb was "lazy" but Vinnie would've definitely pushed some boundaries.
Yeah, sorry, but my only complaint in this otherwise excellent review is that Todd missed the mark on that one. Ken's exact words are, as you point out, "except he can decide."
I don't think NTSF:SD:SUV:: is all that funny or enjoyable and my reason for that is because, as you point out, it does come off as an extended spoof.
"Give the guy a break. A man is a beast. Take myself for instance, I see a young girl get up on a school bus. Jeans riding low, showing a thong. My first thought is I… I'm gonna buzz your butt, am I right?"
But he was hallucinating in the other world as well. If the Wife World is a dream, then he wasn't really shot up with ketamine, and so the penguin he's hallucinating in Son World could be due to a mental breakdown.
Personally, the scenes without Michael and so on can be overlooked. We're dealing with a huge, extremely complex and complicated version of dreaming, so I don't think it's that much of a stretch. My opinion is that it's not that big a deal because I think to make this work you have to give them a little leeway.
His entire attitude is just completely ludicrous. You didn't watch it at the time therefore you suck (or, at least, don't understand it)? What if you were too young, or too poor to have HBO, or lived in a different country? What the fuck is he even going on about?
One of the very first scenes in the episode was Vega showing up in Son World. Michael mistakenly thinks Vega is his partner and starts talking to him, with Vega all confused and then Bird shows up. I'm pretty sure we've also seen Bird show up in Wife World, haven't we? We've seen Emma in both now too and I think Cole…
