Do we have to choose? I like to watch volleyball in both of its forms. Though I like the beach womens' teams chances better than the males'. Gibb and Rosenthal, WTF? So many just plain missed shots.

The swimmers' personalities are seldom winning. But Lochte was kind of set up. The press wants another American superstar to replace the fading one. But we don't necessarily or even reasonably get the next superstar. The next one appears to be Angel, who is *shudder* French.

I fenced one year in college, and I still find it hard to follow on TV. I think that's why it's not a big spectator sport. To be completely honest, I found the rules of foil confusing even in person. Epee is better for the dumber, more instinctive fighter.
