Who will be interested in this?
This isn't the sort of question that I usually ask, but is there any market research that indicates that a significant audience exists for either Dallas or Dynasty? I think of everyone I even slightly know, including my trash step-relatives in Texas, and I can't think of anybody.

Sommalian Sommelier,

@legally concrete blonde

Maggie = Death.

Doublemeat Palace is brilliant. It's about both of Buffy's crappy jobs - the fast food one, and the slayer one where she makes a bunch of mistakes and almost gets killed by a crummy, run-of-the-mill MOW. Then just in spots, it updates us on her miserable relationship with Spike. Nearly perfect.

"Oater" is Variety-speak, right? I'm all for preserving it in the new media, especially if the trades are going to go the way of all print, like the smart young folks have been saying for years, though it hasn't actually happened yet.

I saw the new episode
What I was mostly thinking while I watched is "how did I not see this shoot happening"? They have to have closed down Hollywood Blvd. a few blocks from where I live for hours in the daytime to shoot the bank robbery scene, for instance. I guess I'm not able to give the show the seriousness

An aside, since it's from a link, but wow, I only thought I hated Sorkin before
He shits all over the Writer's Guild for people being unemployed in it. He voted against the strike. But it's ok, he's entitled. His Grandaddy was a real union man.

I don't think obesity is climate-related. You can go from inner-city LA, where about every fourth or fifth person is fat, 30 miles away to Orange County, where about every other person is fat, and marvel.

Oh, as E. Buzz Miller already commented. Except he apparently wanted to keep it going.

It's a transcript from the movie "Rules of Attraction".

AFI is a festival of whores. Though who is paying the whores to say what they say is still unclear to me. I've seen a lot of it, but as you must have noticed by now, I'm not very smart.

@You know who would fuckin kill it?

So he's reallydoing Taken 2
I'm thinking now that his late wife might have talked him out of bad choices in the past. Not that actors have infinite options. The A-Team might have been good. Except it wasn't. Once you've seen a completed movie, and it's shit, and really morally questionable shit, deciding to make a

I wasn't ever going to like Sorkin, based on his creative works. But I guess it just tipped over into hate because his recent bitch-screaches against Sarah Palin made me want to like Palin. Which is utterly impossible. What I'd like is to live in a universe where neither of them exist. If it's a cold, dark, empty

I hate Sorkin and all his works. I'm not fond of Fincher, either. Fight Club is the only one I really like.

Galadriel isn't in The Hobbit. I'm guessing that the film rights go to the whole cycle, including the appendices to LOTR and maybe The Silmarillion, so they own the entire character for film purposes.

This is "honorary", right?
So it's not the same thing as "auxiliary" or "reserve", where the celebrity might actually be let outdoors with a badge and/or gun? I ask with hope not assurance.

Yes, awesome.

Wow, most of ya'll are really sad
I don't think that I've made a specifically feminist comment in the last couple of decades. But the pitiful spectacle of the nerds hating on Eliza Dushku has sort-of awakened my awareness. You seem to hate her based on her "hotness" and unattainablity, . Your comments?
