Cheating Sun
Am I the only one that thinks the writers have kinda ruined the Sun/Jin dynamic in this last season? I mean, I realize they are trying to buy time for the inevitable Sun/Jin reunion, but I think by basically completely ignoring the two characters for the first third of this season, it's already started

The Object Of The Game
The fact that the players didn't know the object of New Cap City was probably my favorite aspect of the episode from a characterization point. It added another layer to the whole thing that was especially prevalent as the kid vacuum sucked in his "winnings" and said "this MUST be the point of

I'm starting to enjoy the show more and more, but I agree that there's been a problem so far with the characters. It's ironic that you complain about the Adamas (and your complaints are valid) because I think they are most enjoyable characters to watch so far. Everyone else, well…

I usually hate to blame the network for a show failing because a lot of the time, they aren't supporting a show for a reason (there's plenty of shows that are loved by a small group of people, but just wouldn't ever be able to bring in a big audience), but in this case, their treatment of the show is just idiotic.

See, I feel the exact opposite. I've always preferred hardcovers to paperbacks because I've always found book buying to be tied to book collecting. And if I'm going to buy a book, I want something that's going to last and something I'm going to like seeing on my shelf in five, ten years. I'll buy paperbacks if

Good observation about the duplicate "planning" places. I would have never thought of that and yes, that seems to be the only explanation that makes sense (considering even the dial had names crossed out and the fact that Smokey crossed out Locke's name himself).

Alter-815ers/Alter-Others Run-Ins
Do you guys think they will have any significance in the end?

Well, I don't know. When the kid said essentially, "Why should we talk, you are never around?" I got depressing images of Adam Sandler/Jim Carrey comedies and a certain Steven Speilberg movie with a ridiculous ending, to just name three. And Jack's revelation that "I'm nothing like my father—oh wait, yes I am!" is

OK, I realize that in the Lost Universe…
follow-up questions apparently don't exist and I've learned to just accept that, but this just seemed really blatant, considering that I watched the repeat of last week's episode again right before the new one:

Conflicted on the Flash-Sideways
For one, I've been really enjoying the Flash-Sideways. Locke's was amazing last week and I found this episode oddly touching as well (even though, like the old flashbacks in the first couple seasons, it seemed to be picked from the "cliched plot devices" handback, this time the

RIP Sayid
Given what I know about Lost's plot structures, it looks like Sayid will be gone for good after next episode. Unless I missed something, Sayid is the only character that is conveniently no longer at The Temple before The Temple gets attacked by Smokey. Also, it seems like the Samarai (hey, don't look at

Everyone always brings up that one, but I prefer how Sarah Palin and every conservative pundit attacked Obama for referring to unwanted pregnancies as a "burden", than Bristol Palin went on a whole tour whose message was, "Don't have sex or you will be stuck with this terrible burden."

No New Moon?
I'm really pretty shocked that Elliott Smith's New Moon isn't on the list. He tends to show up on these lists if relevant to the qualifications.

The Flash-Sideways
I think this was the first time in the whole series that I actually enjoyed the flash (whether it be back, forward, or sideways) more than the on-island stuff. Which is pretty impressive since the on-island stuff was halfway decent.

Frankly, I hate the idea that its Lil Jacob. Not the theory, because it seems perfectly logical to think the kid IS Jacob, but just the idea of it.

So This Band Is About To Be Really Popular, Right?
That's the feeling I get. The snarky "I don't know how anyone can like this band" comments. Pitchfork's review, which essentially said "They used to be good"/"Their first album was so better."

Well That Was Boring
I kinda expected this, considering the previews looked really boring and any episode that focuses on Kate is bound to suck, but after a season opener that made me feel a lot better about the whole series, this just finds me worried again.

Very Enlightening….
as to exactly why how Heroes came to suck so much.

Your reasoning is exactly why I AM excited for the prospect of a larger war. I really don't understand why people would be worried about this turning into "good vs. evil" because, like you said, this has hardly been the case with the two sides so far.

Character Motivations
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that doesn't really care about the character motivations and interactions. The thing is, I USED to care, but the last 2 seasons have thrown so many curves that it's impossible to even think of these characters as real people anymore. Between Locke not
