I'm hoping he's somewhere campaigning to get Terriers on DVD, by tricking the FX execs sneaky-Hank-style.

Coming in so late to the party.
I always thought that Shawn could have become a criminal mastermind instead of a detective very easily, maybe if his father hadn't been such an regular, dampening presence in his childhood.
True, and Shawn and Juliet used to be fun and cute and sweet, but now it's harder to see. Then again, Juliet used to be bubbly; I miss that.
Even though Shawn spent his time with Abigail sorta-pining for Juliet, I still really liked them together. Abigail got his goofiness and went along with it, like when they decided to raid the evidence room like it was a costume shop and take fake arrest photos. I wish they had done more with her.
Also agree. Aside from the scene in the superhero-themed episode, where Shawn and Jules are at the Chinese restaurant, I can't think of many nice moments that show them as a couple in a real way. (Well, maybe the end of this episode, too.) I'd like to see some of those little moments, but not lose the focus on Shawn…
Shawn's dad was good in this episode. There's a brief moment right before Shawn enters the psych ward when Henry mocks Gus' inflection and tone, like Shawn often does ("Uh, actually . . . " ) and that was awesome.
I think this was my favorite episode of Psych this season, even beating out "Last Night Gus" for pure enjoyment. Everyone was in it (well, except the perpetually absent Chief Vick), everyone was in character, lots of hilarious lines and scenes. Lots of great lines from Lassiter and his (for once) evident competence as…
That was one of my favorite lines, too.
Whaaaat? I was really looking forward to that episode, considering it's one of my all-time favorite movies. But at least with the delay, maybe they can get Tim Curry by then. That would be the best!
Shawn impersonating Gus is always a good time.
I would like to clone this post and make it my own. It's so reasonable and balanced. But instead I'll just say "ditto" to it all. I've invested a lot of time into this show myself and love it, but I don't mind some criticism of the show, especially when it comes to weaker episodes like this one. (Though saying it is…
I actually liked this episode better than the vampire episode, mostly because at least this week the goofy, light mystery made a lot more sense. And I thought a lot of the superhero references and Shawn/Gus banter ("You went boneless, didn't you?") were especially on target. This one had a mesh of perfect visual style…
I love how he kept missing with the sand! I think the only time it worked was when he threw it in Lassiter's face to let the Mantis get away.
I agree. I actually really liked the dinner scene because Shawn was so subdued and accommodating of Juliet's eagerness to cut the dinner short for work. Of course, he also then snuck away to do his own undercover thing, but I still felt he seemed more mature in that scene. I like the hints that he is less crazy…
That was genius. The music during that fight scene was also perfect for the lighter tone of the comic book stuff.
He's not doing the full thing, but at least he's still giving Gus stupid names. What did he call him in this one — Watson Williams? LOL.
That name is entirely too long; it would never fit on the window!
You should see her watch House!
Sorry, I was quoting the show in that last line. Shawn says "Wile has a first name?" then makes the O.S. C.A.R bologna joke. Heh, I couldn't tell if you were "duh"ing me or not. (c:
