THEY TOOK MY DRAGONS!!!!!

A season ruling Mereen and lusting after Daario (a character I hate (and who WILL betray her)) is not something I think I'd like. I could be wrong though. The idea of a show based around an ad agency in the 60's seemed hilairiously bad to me.

Chill out man, this is the AV Club not 4chan. The books still exist, you hate the TV show so much stop watching, don't rag on those that love it. I've had enough of the borefest that is Dexter, I don't whine about it on every Dexter post, I just watch something else.

Come on calm down. This was great, amazing, but it was no Helms Deep. They're actually very similar battles (TV and Film), one side against all odds, a big explosion, defending a weak gate, last minute cavalry turning the tide. But Helms Deep has the scale that this show just couldn't do. Also afterwards it has the

@HobbesMkii:disqus I understand the decision though. I'd rather watch a dashing Dinklage or a full head of hair Emila Clark than a no-nose and a baldy. It works in the book, but prettier images are always better on TV.

As Todd keeps pointing out, the pace of this series is breakneck, so would people be happy if they made a 20 episode season with a bottle episode or two (yes I only know that term from Community). Or have longer character development scenes on the same sets?

Haha I'm the same. The first scene to have something big happen, or a point to be made and it's obvious we're about to go through every POV last scene of the episode, I'm like, thats it this week for that character!?  How the hell has that been 50 minutes!

I thought the grades were going to be the other way around. The expert disappointed in the inevitable downsizing of the battle, and the newbie's mind utterly blown. The reviewer seems to be upset it's not 300 or something. I'd give it an A+. Truly amazing.
