Sad to hear that a number of commentators went over the line and resorted to personal and hurtful attacks over a fucking television show. It's one thing to respectfully disagree with a writer's opinion, but when criticism devolves into ad hominem insults that try to make a reviewer question his/her writing talents, it…

To those who have read "In Cold Blood": Is it worth reading today? I recently finished "A Wilderness of Error" by Errol Morris which I quite enjoyed and highly recommend. That novel focused on the Jefferey MacDonald Case/Trial as well as the nature of evidence and how evidence can be interpreted/used in different ways…

Thanks Todd, for all of the entertaining and thought provoking critiques you've provided the last few years! While I didn't always agree with your arguments* and interpretations of various scenes, they were always crafted and presented well. I believe this is probably the most comprehensive and intelligent critique…

I still can't comprehend the AV Club's reverence for The Master. It is by far PTA's weakest film, and the disconnect between certain professional critics and general audiences in regards to the film reminds me of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. I'm partial to Roger Ebert's view of the film.

Go look up pictures of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. With enough explosive material, it's possible to cause unbelievable amounts of damage/destruction.

Saul orchestrated the entire terrorist plot in order to get his wife back. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST!

Not a huge fan of this episode. At least we're getting to the interesting segment of the season which contains a lot of the good episodes. "Never Fear" and "Joker's Millions" are a lot of fun and "Growing Pains" is one of the darkest episodes of the series.

Walton Goggins. Despite the fact that he's typecast as a "racist hillbilly", in reality he is very articulate and is a passionate environmentalist. He campaigned for Obama (going door-to-door), won an Oscar for a short film he co-produced, and is also a photographer (he has a interesting blog about his…

I actually thought this was one of the stronger episodes of the season. It was consistently funny and felt more akin to an old-school Sunny episode. Mac's false belief of his own physical prowess, the classic Frank+Charlie team-up, Dee completely losing out at the end, etc., made this episode feel rather…
