They did indeed.

To add yet another historical elbowrubbing, that wasn't just any DJ — it was Kool Herc! So there's a little nod to early hip-hop and a tip of the hat to whichever commenter it was who wondered if the show might just touch on its birth before the show premiered.

You can sweep up sorghum with sorghum.

Kimmy Schmidt? Hello Ladies? _____ Movie? You're thinking of Adam Campbell!

I forgot about Celebrity Diving! Though I do now recall a very unceremonious *roll* off the platform.

Yeah. Definitely rules out correspondence via the emails.

I'm sure we'll be good at it in a generation or two when our fetuses stream Peep Show in utero. Start 'em young.

That would make for a fun item on my NYC itinerary. Yeah, I'm in.

I heard that AT-ATs refuse to go down stairs.

Of the original lead cast, Bert always struck me as the standout *character* character in the way that Gross played him. You're totally right! I can't even pretend that I didn't dedicate a fair amount of time to practicing… could never quite get it otherworldly enough.

I don't know how many iterations he went through in character design, but they landed on just the right one.

I hate the tone of that response.

Wow. Thanks for this one. I was just a little on the young edge even when they were rebroadcasting episodes on latenight network tv (maybe Fox?). After having seen Creepshow all the way through for the first time last weekend (I know, I know), I'm looking forward to rediscovering this.
